Mature semi-bulbous rosette to 30cm. diameter x 20cm. high in bloom. Stiff, recurving spiny bronze green, triangular-tapering leaves with orange overtones in strong light and with restrictive feeding. Erect, thistle-like spike of light red bracts and cerise pink flowers. Inner leaves turn orange during blooming.
