Mature rosette to 1 metre diameter x 1.5 metres tall in spike. Bronze green leaves with central cream stripes, flushed pink in strong light. Erect, rosy red-stemmed inflorescence of mauve ovaries with purple petals. Variegated form of Aechmea fendleri which sported in Kent's Nursery, Vista, California. . Originally distributed as Ae. 'Vista' but amended here to distinguish it from the previously-registered form of Ae. chantinii named Ae. 'Vista'. Reg. Doc. 5/2014 by G. Lawn. Country of origin: California USA | |||
