cv. of fasciata X chantinii - reverse cross of 'Fascini' ? - Bromeliad Treasury said, "A selected clone of a European cross - the leaves are silvery and up to 5" wide - they form a 20" upright vase shaped rosette of beautiful symmetry - the redbracted scape carries a large inflorescence just above the leaves - a cluster of spikes w/red overlapping floral bracts and blue flowers that radiate from a single point at the end of the scape - the cluster is 8" in diameter and remains in color for many months".
