Upright tubular green rosette, slightly cross-banded black, to 40cms. tall, with woody 10cms. long stolons. Erect short-branched spike of orange / red bracts and creamy yellow petals. Mount Tyson is a rain-forested peak overlooking Tully, north Queensland. Reg. Doc. 2/2012 by Michael Pascall.
