Mature,bulbous-based rosette to 45cm. diameter x 25cm. tall in bloom. Arching, grey-green, channeled leaves, tapering to a point. Erect inflorescence of pink/yellow bracts and purple flowers. Surrounding scurfed leaves turn light pinkish red at blooming. As well as normal basal offsets, viviparous pups form on the inflorescence just like T. 'Halley's Comet'.
