Mature, small, spidery-shaped , caulescent rosette 8 cm. high x to 11cm. diameter. Velvety, silver-grey ,thick, strongly-channeled leaves, stiff and bent at their base The inner leaves are erect as well as the inflorescence which is thin and long, sometimes branched with distichously- arranged dark lavender-blue flowers.
