Mature open large rosette to 60 cm diameter x 60 cm high. The scurfed, recurving, grey-green leaves, lineated on the top, are each 44 cm long x 5 cm wide, tapering to a point. Branched, upright inflorescence to 30 cm long has rose pink bracts (side branches to 18 cm long) and purple flowers. Note that this plant is different from the alleged natural hybrid named T.
