BILLBERGIA ‘The Apprentice’ Aizlewood G 2004

Mature, tightly-tubular rosette to 50cm. high x 3 cm. wide. Bronze red leaves heavily pinpointed cream and flushed pink. The erect spike has red scape bracts, pale green ovaries, green sepals tipped violet and violet flowers with green stigma. Named to commemorate the Engineering Apprentice scheme operated by the Royal Australian Air Force 1948-1993. Reg. Doc. 10/2015.
